Journal History

Confluência is a biannual journal published by the Portuguese Language Institute of Liceu Literário Português, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Its thematic field includes all the strands of language investigation, either in the formal or in the empirical plane. In this sense, the journal accepts articles of diversified theoretical basis in the field of Romance languages, especially the Portuguese language. Counting on an imprinted tradition since 1991, Confluência was integrated into the era of electronic journals in 2013.
