Confluência is published by the Institute of Portuguese Language of Liceu Literário Português, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This journal is dedicated to professionals and students interested in language, communication and text theory. It is mainly concerned with disseminating completed and ongoing research relevant to the field of linguistics, philology, especially the Portuguese language.
