Em defesa da língua e de uma grafia comum
Abstract
Venho acompanhando com interesse a série de reportagens que o JL tem publicado a respeito de tentativas de um acordo ortográfico entre os sete países que adoptaram o português como língua oficial (ressalte-se que, no Brasil, mais que isso, é materna e nacional), com depoimentos e artigos de ilustres figuras de intelectualidade portuguesa. Entre observações justas e pertinentes, há outras voltadas para alvos estranhos ao problema. Como velho e calejado professor de língua portuguesa, creio estar em condições de meter o nariz na ciranda do debate. [...]
