Pórtico
Abstract
Depois de longa (longuíssima) experiência portas dentro das salas de aula, sinto-me com certa autoridade para recomendar aos moços, especialmente os estudantes de letras e os novéis colegas licenciados, uma atitude de sacramental HUMILDADE diante da língua portuguesa, que se propõem a ensinar. Pois a verdade é que, havendo eu dedicado a vida inteira, dia após dia, hora e mais hora, sem pausa nem fadiga, a estudá-la apaixonadamente, convenço-me, a cada momento que passa, de quanto ainda me falta para possuir o tesouro das pecufiaridades e sutilezas de seus opulentos meios de expressão.
