Keywords:
teaching, tradition, innovation, linguistic variation, textual diversityAbstract
The purpose of this article is to point out, in the present teaching of Portuguese, the coexistence of traditional pedagogical proceedings with certain activities directed to a change of orientation whose aim is more productive teaching. These activities, however, have not always been carried out in an adequate way. Linguistic variation and textual diversity are two subjects specially treated in this article.
