Abstract

This study aims to analyse morphophonological processes triggered by verbal inflection in the forms of the indicative past tense, that is, processes that alter the shape of morphemes and generate allomorphs at various levels in the XII-XIII centuries Archaic Portuguese (AP) were investigated by Lexical Phonology (LP) and Autosegmental and Metrical Phonology.
