Construções em foco
o caso de daqui vem e vamos lá
Keywords:
Functionalism, Constructions with locative, GrammaticalizationAbstract
This paper investigates the semantic-pragmatic motivations that lead to the emergency of daqui vem and vamos lá micro-constructions in Portuguese. Based on the hypothesis of Oliveira (2010), we intend to validate that constructional verb and locative base, in a different orderings, promote distinct functions. From the LocV ordering are formed connections elements and from the Vloc ordering are formed discourse markers. We use the theoretical apparatus of functionalism according to Hopper (1991), Traugot & Dasher (2005) and Construction Grammar especially in Croft (2001). We consider, in a synchronic analysis, the specific contexts of the use in which these constructions are conventionalized.
