A variação linguística e o ensino do português em Moçambique

Mozambique is a lusophone country and he has a linguistic diversity comprised of more than twenty Bantu Languages competing with Portuguese as the official language. There are standard deviation from the norm caused by contact and interference of Bantu Languages . The research aims to (a) explain the peculiarities of Portuguese Mozambique and (b) describe the difficulties to teach portuguese in Mozambique schools. The research concludes that the Portuguese of Mozambique is real, must be studied and shown to students thus countering prejudice and poor quality of teaching. Training for teachers of portuguese and change of attitude towards Mozambican variant is urgent.
