This work is a study of the socio-discursive representations engendered in the texts of the genre advice within the scope of Correio Feminino, by Clarice Lispector. Our objective is to describe the main socio-discursive representations with regard to women, based on the data collected for the descriptive organization of the genre under study, through the theoretical and methodological approaches of Semiolinguistics Theory proposed by Patrick Charaudeau (1983, 1992, 2004, 2008). Our results show that the texts represent a traditional female model, which is used by the EUe as an ideal to be followed by the reader of the texts.
