The main aim of this paper is to analyze only the prefixes cataloged as negative (they can express ‘opposition’, ‘contradiction’, ‘opposite’ and ‘privacy’), based on the or of the marked words corresponding to the fields of law and economics. From the rich existing bibliography, only recent works by morphologists and scholars of Portuguese or Spanish translated into Portuguese by the author are cited. The prefixal expression of opposition and contrariety is analyzed due to its fertility in legal language, but the prefixal expression of deprivation is not analyzed due to its low performance in these specialized languages.
