A inflação de 96 é ...
Abstract
Sr. Redator. O JB de 09 do corrente, em vistosa manchete, anuncia que a inflação de 1996 "é a menor em 46 anos". Medida pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas, essa inflação atingiu no Rio 11,54%. Somado esse percentual aos 23,16% de 1995, conforme ainda dados do JB da mesma data, temos o total de 34,70%. E parece que estamos sendo otimista, pois o JB, na edição supracitada (p. 13, caderno Negócios) faz-nos saber que "No balanço de dois anos e meio de Plano Real, verifica-se uma inflação de 60,34%".
