About the Journal

Confluence is the publication of Instituto de Língua Portuguesa do Liceu Literário Português, Rio de Janeiro. Founded in 1991, the semi-annual journal is dedicated to the publication of unpublished texts, whether articles, reviews, or news, on linguistic studies, with an emphasis on the Portuguese language. Confluência is a free open acess journal to both authors and readers. Articles published in Confluence are the responsibility of the respective authors; copying and printing are permitted for academic purposes only, with the integrity of the text and citation of the source being preserved (CC BY-NC-ND License).
